We have decided to have the picnic at Cumberland Mountain State Park in Crossville and we will reserve a pavilion (#4) next to the boat area so anyone can rent canoe or paddle boat, it is also close to restrooms, a playground and not far from the restaurant is someone is to picky for picnic food hahahhahha.

Once we have settled on a date, I thought it would be fun for everyone to bring a dish to share, pot luck style. Those who would rather not cook or buy something special to bring could volunteer to bring plates, cups, plastic wear, burgers and dogs for grilling, charcoal and such items. Sound good to everyone?

Okay. I voted for September 1. I do believe that is Labor Day weekend. I can bring a mean macaroni salad. Can also bring sweet and sour Kielbasa.

Oh, and the party hats. Way cool party hats. That's the carrot for Alleycat's nose.

Please vote now. Puhlease?

Can we have it on a Friday night, or is that not so good? If it isn't don't worry about it. It's just that I have to be home by 8 p.m. on Saturday. I wake up at 3 a.m. on Sunday morning.

I know. I have very strange hours.

If that is not okay, then Saturday stands. No worries. I just thought I might camp on Friday. Maybe I'll do that anyway!

quick...close the poll while 9/8 is still the winner!

Seriously, that's the only date we could conceivable make it since the caravan doesn't pull into TN till Labor Day Weekend

Somebody (Tridad) went on my computer and voted for me ! Anyway, we leave here on 8/31, so the 8th would allow us to be there. However, if that is too late for some of the fun stuff, weather wise, definitely do it earlier!

Either way, we're sure we'll catch up with you guys at some point!!
