Thank you both for trying. If I get a chance to use someone's computer while we are gone over the next 11 days or so, I will definitely check back. Drat, am I ever going to miss my forum look-and-sees!

Can't wait to get to E. TN next week. Leaving in the AM for a 2200 mile drive. Lots of relatives to see, ending up in Knoxville!

Hooray, at long last! It's not important, but just a nice, interesting article. This is the kind of stuff I enjoy reading about in the news, and here in NJ stories like this are few and far between!

I love it, although being in school has kept me from going for the last couple of years. I am not 100% certain of the dates this year, but I think it goes from October 11 - 14.
Thank you so much for posting this! We are planning on attending the Fall Homecoming and have booked a room at the DoubleTree in Oak Ridge Saturday night (with brunch reservations on Sunday ).

That is great that they got so much coverage there in NJ. Guess there are fans everywhere.

I love the Jerry Springer story told by Tony Thomas about meeting his GA wife! All in good fun, right?

Well, actually it was in the Roane County News, which I subscribe to here in NJ. Yes, I am a serious dork for Tennessee! (I subscribe to the Loudon County paper too, since our land is right on the border lol).

I really look forward to seeing those fellas down at Yonder Hollow!

That is a great idea, bbkaren. I know that reading the papers on line does not give you the same flavor as subscribing. You miss a lot that is not included in the online papers.

We enjoyed seeing your posts so much; keep them coming.
