I keep looking online but all I can find are apartments. Where can I find house rentals?

Hi. I live here in Maryville. Homes for rent are usually advertised in two ways. 1. A sign in the yard "For Rent By Owner" and the phone number. These usually don't last long and are never advertised outside of the area. 2. They are listed with real estate agents/offices. And, a distant third, is that they are one of the above and they have an ad in the newspaper, :: The Daily Times ::.

Some of the main and major real estate agents here are: Coldwell Banker Nelson Realtors, Realty Executives, Century21, Realty Executives Price and Associates, Coldwell Banker Wallace and Wallace (new Alcoa office, not Knoxville), ReMax, Realty III. It has been my experience that these houses still yet are not advertised online. You have to hook up with the office and they will email information to you.

I hope this helps provide information although I realize it doesn't help very much in regards to actually finding a home. Let me know if I can help provide any detailed information. Best of luck to you.

Thanks, I suspected as much when I was looking and found nothing! It makes it harder when you can't be in the area.

Thanks for your info, I'll check with them, offhand though, what do houses run for in Maryville? (Like an older 2/3 bd home)
