I phoned a state farm office in Nashville and compared it exactly to our policy here in S. Florida. I received a quote for 40% less than what we pay. I hadnt seen anything mentioned about the auto insurance rates.

We discussed auto insurance here occasionally.

I like Farm Bureau myself.

I've been with State Farm for over 25 years now and am continuing with them when we move to TN a couple of weeks.

Ours would have been 60% less here in Chattanooga with the same coverage (State Farm, as well), but we decreased some deductibles and increased some coverage so, we are at about 50% savings.

Gotta love that one

Default Travelers over Progressive

R: Had Progressive many years down South, and they advertise like crazy on the TV, but our Real estate agent set everything up with Travelers over the phone, never went to a office, for a good discount.
This is a 6 month policy 2 SUV. So just verify term lengths. Had to go back to Progressive for Motorcycle.

Default Farm Bureau is frightening

I was doing research on the web about them because I thought I had heard something about them a few years ago. They arent big down here so I didnt really pay attention. I just read this article and another on the internet today though. Any comments?

Default private message?

I must have been reading another thread and saw your name on there and sent it to you. Nothing "gives".
