I read a lot of Tennessee blogs but am always interested in new offerings. If you have a favorite blog please share it here. Let's not debate the blogs themselves, just provide a listing for each other to peruse.

I'll go first. One of my favorite Tennessee blogs is a photo blog. It fancies itself an "Appalachian" blog and mostly features eastern TN with a sprinkling of western NC and vacation destinations. Enjoy!

Smile Thank you for that great blog - more to follow.

What a beautiful site - and sight! Thank you, SMG. I will post one or two of mine later after the cookies come out of the oven.

Please take me shopping with you and AlisonL. I don't need anything, but will buy it anyhow! I just LOVE to shop.

SMG, the fromthesehills blog has been bookmarked and will be visited frequently when I need a breath of fresh mountain air emotionally. If the photos aren't beautiful enough, the writing caps it off with enough sentiment and depth to make you cry. A true artist's heart. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, and the artist is correct...the mid to southeast quadrant of Ohio is Appalachia. Holmes County is the largest Amish settlement in the world. Hocking Hills forests are indeed much like Tennessee. 'Cept Tennessee has a bit more of that sassy "wild child" in her.

Here's one of my favorite blogs. We can't wait to join the hiking club in the Tri-Cities area:
