Hi, I am having a home built in Grimsley which is about 9 miles from Jamestown. Could anyone tell me what my best bet would be for telephone and high speed internet service. I don't know what lines will be laid with the house. For TV I am planning on getting DirectTV.

Thanks to all in advance, CC

We use Frontier Communications for outside of Cookeville. They offer packages that include phone, DSL and Dish TV. A package for all three runs a little over $100 with unlimited LD.

I believe Grimsley is Twin Lakes and if I am not mistaken there may be a central office near the post office or South Fentress elementary that is DSL capable.

Clarkrange are 863 prefix and Jamestown is 879, 752. I suspect you will operate out of Clarkrange.

You can call Twinlakes or drop them an email and ask.

If you are lucky enough to get Twlakes DSL service, they have excellent outside plant service (physical phone lines, etc..) but they use Info.ave for their internet services and they are adequate at best.

Hope that helps and welcome to the neighborhood.

Merry Christmas.
