Phyll, you might want to let those fresh cow patties sit way back in the corner of your property for a while. After several months the odor is gone and the bacteria (which probably causes the odor!).

Makes great fertilizer then. However, you will be the proud owner of about 20 generations of millions of flies!!!

These are garden cows. Look for them at your garden supply store, Phyll.

Horse poo is no good....Like gemthornton said the cow poo has too sit for a while, It's too strong too use with in days of manufacturing. Make a bio-pile out back and use leaves and vegetable scraps and cow poo and turn it weekly and you will have black gold that you can use along with good old dirt. Great for gardens and plants. If you can buy some good old fishing worms dump them on the pile also.....

Do you know why eagle brand milk is so expensive? Because to get one can they have to milk 30 eagles.
