Quite a bit of rain has fallen in Tennessee over the last couple of days. As many of you know, we had a VERY DRY 2007. Most of the Mid-State is now ahead of normal for 2008.

As many of you know, I work in the Advertising business daily, but also report the weather daily as well. My 'home base' is Cookeville and love this wonderful community.

CoCoRaHS observers across TN help NOAA by reporting their rainfall on a daily basis. CoCoRaHS was started in TN on April 1st and I've been reporting since May 22nd. It still amazes how someone who is fairly close in proximity to my location will have a different measurement. We'd love to have more observers, so if you're interested, sign up!
