I really want to move back to TN. It sure seems that snowfall has decreased since I lived there in the early 80's. I remember completely covered ground many times in middle TN. I still can't decide where I want to be. I know people may think I am nuts but I love having snow and I sure miss it. I want to move where there are a few good snowfalls per year. I'd also like to be close (within an hour or so) of a major city. I also want 10+ acres. So, there are big pluses to beng close to Nashville, but I don't believe Nashville gets much snow anymore.

So, if you have a picture of beautiful snow covered ground in TN, please post it. With your post, please post where the picture was taken and what month/year if known.

Silly right?

Nah, not silly. A lot of people enjoy the snow pictures that are occasionally posted here. You can search around a little on the forum and find pictures that were either posted earlier this year, or from years gone by.

We haven't had any snow in Nashville today, but they might have gotten some further east of here.

I have searched and viewed probably every snow pic on the TN forums. There are some beautiful pics, especially in the East TN mountains. I want to see, I guess, a little more typical home setting or area. I know it snows in the mountains but unless they offer coupons to buy in the mountains soon, I can't afford 10+ acres there.

It seems like the plateau gets much more snow than us.

Right now, we are hoping for snow in Knoxville. It rained all day, and now it stopped but Cumberland County has already canceled school. My kid thinks she is staying home tomorrow, too.

Here is a pic of the big snowstorm we had last year at my home in the boro. I was worried I wouldn't make it to work that day LOL!
It was short and sweet, but fun while it lasted!

Yes, by 12 noon it was all gone. It was like Frosty the snowman melting. I was upset LOL! My neighbors did get outside and build one before it went away. It was so cute.
