I've live in Wisconsin for the last 20 years. I'm native Texan and have worked all around the country. For the most part, most Cheeseheads are good people, once they get to know you. Minority populations in this state are the friendliest. They are used to the prejudice. There some here that I completely ignore and no longer acknowledge their existence because of the way they treated me. They sterotype everyone. Most of these folks are very prejudiced. They listen to the conservative propaganda on the AM radio dial 24/7 and believe all of that bu$hit.
When I first got here, it was always said to me .... "If you're from Texas, then you think this way, you like this/that, you're stupid, you're gullable."
My answer comeback to them is " how about them Green Bay PECKERS!"
Now, for the Cheeseheads that are friendly, they are very good people.
Once you figure out their sense of humor, they are funny. Lot's of hunters and fishermen.
I've had fun here.
