Is there a good resource for searching for rentals WITH acreage in Texas? Online is hit and miss and we cant find any guides or anything great in the papers.

Is there some resource we are missing?

Not too many want to mess with rentals. Plus, most realtors we have found are deadbeats and only want the big, easy sale.

Rentals with acreage are scarce. I agree that you should find an agent who specializes in the kind of property you're looking for, and see if they handle rentals or know someone similar who does.

You can also try such resources as Southwest Horse Trader and Horse Gazette (http://www.horsegazette.com/class/main.php - broken link) - there's not a lot in there, but you might get lucky.

If you are in the area you want to live in, check the bulletin boards at the local feed stores and tack shops.

You could post what you're looking for on craigslist in the area you're looking in (what is that, by the way?). Again, you might get lucky.

Sometimes, homes with acreage that are for sale will also be for lease, if they've been on the market a while. An agent will be able to find this out for you.
