Texas Deregulation Area Map

Your first step if you want low costs is to not move anywhere in the State where there is 'deregulated' energy aka higher cost energy.

Are you referring to real estate? Grocery bills? Electricity? Your question is WAY to vague. Be more specific, please.

Ha! I was thinking the same thing. Realy vague. On top of that you get what you pay for. All cities have cheap places to live. I mean you can find a really cheap place to live in Houston, but probably would not live there by choice unless you aren't phased by gunfire. I am sure you can find a cheap little shack to live in out in the sticks somewhere, but then you might have to drive an hour to get to a grocery store, or worse the hospital. Cheap isn't always the best idea.

City property tax rate Tyler. .21 per hundred evaluation. Lowest on any city over 15,000 pop. and less than most of the others, with exception of small towns "sitting" on oil or gas fields. lol
