Actually I can't even say truck anymore because I saw a general Ford commercial today that annoyed me as well with its over-the-top Texasisms. You know what I mean, the deep twangy macho voice, the country music. I see they've brought back the "Ford is the best in Texas!" jingle (ahh!) Drives me bonkers! Does anyone like them?

If any other state has equally obnoxious car commercials, I'd like to see them.

Enjoy all commercials that are Texas themed AND are truck based...

The ones that annoy me are the commercials that show the wimps and their MPG cars...

Ya, I know what you mean, we really need some Texas truck commercials with New Yorkers or Italian accents. I can see it now,

In my best italian voice: "you needs to buy this fine automobile, it's got room enough for 10 corpi!"

As for me, I'm jealous, they don't advertise my truck. I mean out side of seeing one on Top Gear or Ice Road Truckers, you probably want see one on TV.

I agree wholeheartedly with the OP. Texas truck commercials are extremely annoying. Every month appears to be "truck month".

here's a hint, YOU'RE IN TEXAS. Down here we have ranches, hills, canyons, wooded areas, that need a truck and not a Mercedes. this ain't Hollywood and Vine if it was I bet you'd be sick of the all the Mercedes commercials too..

Ford Trucks has, for many years, produced distinctive TV commercials for each state or region in the country. That makes several dozen individual commercials, each of which needs to be original, and the ad agencies just can't keep up with the demand for the kinds of intelligent, imaginative, artistic, thoughtful TV commercials that we have all accustomed ourselves to.
