I have not eaten at all of those places as I strongly dislike Chinese food. But out of the ones I have eaten at:

1.)Double Daves Pizza Works- Great Pizza and friendly staff, I think its a chain but I've never found one outside of SA, I miss their Pizza.

2.)Nachos- Good quality for a buffet, not a huge selection

3.) CiCi's- Like all other CiCi's I don't care for the Pizza all that much, but huge selection and good service and great prices.

4.)Kenny Blanek's Village Cafe and Catering-I would rank this #1 but I've never tried the buffet just take out, but the food is great.

5.)Lin's Chinese Buffet-not big on Chinese but my GF liked this place and it seemed pretty good.

6.)Mr Gattis(you left this one off)-Good Pizza but not great, more expensive then CiCi's. If I has kids this might be on top, very large gameroom, movie theater with cartoons playing ect.

Asian Buffet: Fairly new place. Mongolian BBQ in the back is better than Lin's. Cost is comparable to others (I think around $14/person, but don't remember). Food was average Chinese food - nothing great. Others I work with have said it's the best Asian buffet.

China Garden - Haven't been there in years. It has changed owners several times over the recent years. Again, it was like all the other Chinese food places to me. Nothing stood out. Beef & Broccoli, General Tsao's Chicken, etc. tastes the same regardless of who makes it.

Cici's Pizza is a good meal for the price. It's not the best pizza in town, but everyone has their own personal preference for what pizza "should" taste like. They're not bad, but not great. Prices are good though!

Double Dave's is my favorite pizza, but not my favorite pizza buffet. It's good, and they make good dessert pizzas, but they are probably the most expensive pizza buffet in town.

Kenny Blanek's just catered our company's Christmas Party. The food was good and reasonably priced. But it wasn't their standard fare, I'm sure, since it was winter holiday related (ham, stuffing, rolls, etc.).

Lin's - Not better not worse than the others. To me, if you blinded folded me and brought me plates from all the Asian buffets, I couldn't tell one from the other. As with the Asian buffets in town, they are expensive, so go hungry when you go there!

Paco's Place - I've been there several times. It's a hole in the wall type of place, but the people who own it are great. There's a guy there (I think one of Paco's grandson's) who normally works the register... but during the holidays, he'll take a quick break, and sing a Christmas Carol over the microphone - pretty good voice. I love the food and think the price is good for the quality of food you get. It's a small buffet with only about 8 choices of food, but I really enjoy it every time I go.

The other places you listed I haven't been to - so I can't speak to them.

Double Dave's started in Aggieland and has quite a few locations in the DFW area. THeir signature item is their Peproni Rolls!

I used to waitress for Kenny Blanek at El Patio when I was in college at ASU. My friends and I actually held our graduation dinner for our families there! He is a great guy, and an even better cook!
