This isn't west Texas, but close by in southern New Mexico - specifically the village of Ruidoso on early Saturday morning (Christmas eve). It is a screen capture from an online web cam. As can be seen on the face of the working clock on the building on the right side of the photo, it's 7a.m.

It was really cool to see a White Christmas for sure
My mother wasn't too excited about it...she doesn't like snow or ice lol But all in all it wasn't that bad. The roads for the most part was very drivable. They shut down the loop both mornings as a precaution but everything else was good.

My mother wasn't too excited about it...she doesn't like snow or ice lol But all in all it wasn't that bad. The roads for the most part was very drivable. They shut down the loop both mornings as a precaution but everything else was good.
