Houston will have 3 sports stadiums in its downtown and with the plans for additional rail lines and the convention center district; I'd say that Houston's core will be pretty busy for years to come.

That's a tough one. I voted for Houston because of it's economy. But then again what is the core? The immediate areas surrounding downtown or we talking about a five mile radius.

It was Austin the last 5 years. From what I'm hearing about stadiums, rail, housing it will be Houston next (though already started a few years back).

I don't recall you're thread question ending in, "and why?" I can probably pick four threads on the Texas forum right now where reason after reason has already been listed for both cities, and you have participated in all of them. You asked a question, we answered.

Most of things you have listed for Dallas look good for the city. The only thing I have a problem with is Dallas marketing this new addition to the State Fair as a the tallest "ride" in the world. Like it's some kind of roller coaster or something. I'm sure it will be fun to go to the top and back down again (maybe once, and will probably be filled with senior citizens) but they need to call it what it is, an "observation tower."
