We're looking at a lot on Alamo Beach, or near there. Is there anything we need to know? I am having trouble finding photos of the actual beach area, and wonder if we should be looking elsewhere. I know the Matagorda area-love it, but it's become way to expensive for me. Any information would be appreciated

I own property in alamo beach,my property sits on the corner of sunrise and fm (farmers hwy) i dont live there yet-my property is just a piece of land ,all property surrounding my place is mostly privately own, either being used yr round or only on vacation,alamo9 is rual area....homes being far and few in between..which actualy gives one all the privacy you need...residents are working class or mostly retired...mostly white ethic....and are the most pleasent people...each minding there own....there is only one down fall that im feel i must mention----years ago there was a mercury spill across the bay from a alcoli (alumanum plant) they area has undergone clean up...they say not to eat the shell fish...other than that ,i actually fell in love with my property there, where it sits and do plan to retire there...hey you only live once and it is perfect for me

if you add me as your friend you can view my pic's of the area on my profile
