The Museum is a classy looking building. Why would you want to cheese it up with tacky lights.

Lights don't make a building cheesy. It's the way they were put on that makes it cheesy.

Speaking of lights, I was riding in Oak Cliff and I could see the Dallas Skyline (because of the rolling hills in that part of town made it possible). The BOA Plaza lights were off because of the LED conversion, I couldn't see BOA Plaza at all. That made the downtown skyline look very unimpressive. The tallest building I could see was the Renaissance Tower. When people say BOA Plaza need to be turned off permanently, I strongly disagree. Without lights, you cannot see the building at all.

I think any kind of BOA style lighting is extremely tacky.

Hey, that's your opinion. But if you seen it without lights you would know why it's lit.

Why can't it be lit with it's windows like every other building in the world?

It reminds me of coming southbound on 45 just past the I-10 interchange.

I don't think it would look good. It looks horrible at night without the lights.
