Places with a great public transportation system tend to be liberal

I was getting that feeling. I'd rather walk and bike in a town that's not full of liberals. That'd be good excercise anyway.

You're having fun with us, right? Now you're a conservative and want a girlfriend. You can be conservative (and find a conservative girlfriend) in many Texas towns, but transportation is going to be a problem.

It's probably more beneficial to address your anxiety issues and be a mentally healthy person. Additionally, as a rule of thumb, women are not attracted to guys with anxiety issues or guys that don't drive. Hope that helps.

My son lives in Austin and he doesn't have a car. He gets around just fine.

So you're saying if I have anxiety problems and never drive that no women will ever be attracted to me? One was before! So I know that's not true. It'd be an even crazier world if that were true, nobody is perfect.

If you can manage a bicycle, why not try a 50cc moped or a scooter to supplement public transportation? They're cheap as dirt anymore and they're getting really popular even in places as spread out and conservative as Lubbock.

You're right, which is why I said it was a "rule of thumb" meaning it is the exception rather than the rule. Good luck addressing your mental health issues for real. Getting rid of the anxiety is probably the better life roadblock to focus on more so than the driving problem or no girl problem. I've dealt with mental issues myself and understand it is no fun to experience that stuff when others have it better with no idea of the suffering some folks can go through. I still stand by my previous post though.
