Good Lord, do I feel poor after reading all these 'shopping lists'. After I hit the lottery, maybe I'll check some out.

Miami based THE WEBSTER opening first store outside of florida in Houson Galleria "Luxury Jewel Box".

"Miami's luxury retail baby is growing up. The Webster just announced that it plans to open its first store outside of Miami in November at the Houston Galleria mall. It's moving into a standalone building that's still under construction, which Simon Property Group coined the "luxury jewel box." In a statement to us, owner Laure Hériard-Dubreuil explained her decision to open in Houston:

"It makes perfect sense to bring our strong fashion expertise and ‘fashion eye' to this new venture. We have observed the growing market in Houston, as there is a demand for more and more curated fashion pieces. It is clear Houstonians have a passion for fashion, so it is natural that we come to them. We will also be reaching out to international clients from Asia and the Middle East that might not come to Miami.""

In another article confirming the opening of THE WEBSTER in Houston's Galleria, it was revealed that Simon Groups has signed Celine as a tenant due to open next year & La Perla + TOD'S for this Spring. (TOD'S was previously announced)

The Webster Opening Houston Store - Fashion Scoops - Fashion - WWD.com

"HOUSTON CALLING: The Webster plans to open its first store outside Miami Beach in November at the Houston Galleria. The 5,000-square-foot store will occupy part of a freestanding building under construction in a parking lot of the Galleria, which houses about 400 stores and eateries, two hotels and three office towers.

The new building, which has been dubbed the “jewel box” by mall owner Simon Property Group, spans 14,000 square feet and will feature a transparent facade of framed glass, explained spokesman Les Morris. The Galleria is also in the midst of other improvements, including Saks Fifth Avenue’s move into a bigger space.
The Webster currently has units in Miami Beach and at the Shops at Bal Harbour.

Simon also revealed that Celine has leased a spot in the Galleria for next year open and La Perla and Tod’s are set to debut this spring."

WITH NEW FINANCIAL BACKERS, JITROIS PLOTS RAPID U.S. EXPANSION
http://fashionista.com/2015/04/jitrois-new-york-store

French luxury leather brand, JITROIS, has signed a lease at an unknown location in Dallas.

"It's the ninth Jitrois location worldwide -- others include Beijing, Hong Kong and three in France. "We strongly believe in our partnership with Jodi," said Patry about Shelton, whose title is now CEO of Jitrois NYC. Jitrois has signed a contract with her to open stores in Las Vegas, Miami, Los Angeles and Dallas. He thinks Las Vegas will be the next to open, by the end of 2015, with a Miami store to follow soon after. They also want to renovate the Aspen store. "Its all going to go pretty quick — in terms of logistics, it all makes more economic sense to have fairly quickly more shops in the U.S.," said Jitrois, who spoke in French with Patry translating. "It's been more than 30 years that the brand keeps really fresh and has redefined itself," he continued. "

Exciting!

The three areas I'm thinking Jitrois will look are:

1. Highland Park Village
2. NorthPark
3. Main Street
