Well, we managed to get .01" of rain today (um... yippee!). Now, were at .02" for the year! It was alot cooler today; most of the day was in the 40's after the front moved through here about 7am; before that happened, it was near 70 all night long! No wonder the flu-bug is so rampant around here right now.. people can't get used to this wild change in weather all the time, so their bodies are constantly fighting the change of weather rather than dealing with the airborne flu bugs!

Well, that's how it always starts.

At least ya'll are getting rain. Here in San Antonio, we didn't get ANY rain in January and barely any during December. The latest "ok" rain we had was back in October and it wasn't even much.v

The Farmer's Almanac predicts a very intense summer of thunderstorms and tornado activity.

While we can sure skip the tornadoes, I too would like to see some rain.

Amen, bro. My yard is saturated, and has been since October. No rain at all till May would be just fine with me. I am not joking.

At least in the Bayou City, you don't have to worry about fire dangers or burn bans. So you can take comfort in that. The rest of us could use some saturation.

But at least Memorial Park will be real green this spring.

It's been raining and snowing about a week straight here in St. Louis.

It was 70 degrees last Wednesday and then dropped 50 degrees between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. followed by 8 inches of thunder snow the next day! This week it's rained and sleeted and even hailed a little bit the entire week, I can't wait until Thursday because the sun is supposed to finally come out for a few hours. You gotta love mid-western weather it changes by the hour, I can't wait to move further south.

I wish it would rain more! I love the rain and we don't always get nearly enough. We really do need it.

Keep dreaming if you folks seriously think we're going to have more rain than last year. I agree, we do need it, but I'm not real optimistic this time around. I can't afford for my boat to get any damage caused by low-water areas or stumps.
