It was sad to see OU beat TCU. I hope Baylor beats OU in championship game and trophy comes to our state this year. The Big 12 Championship Game will be a rematch between No. 9 Oklahoma and No. 14 Baylor. Both teams won on Saturday, securing their spots for Arlington, Texas, on Dec. 7. Baylor defeated UT and OU defeated TCU.

I am extremely excited for the longhorns losing so many games. It shows how shallow they are.

As a UH alum, I am excited too. There is a professional way to leave your job for a new job. See Scott Frost and UCF. Then there are those who dump on their previous employer and burn all possible bridges. That's Herman and UH. I read UT fan boards about Herman, and fans literally (and I hate using that overused word) said their university spends more on sports than any other university, so they feel they deserve championships and not mediocrity. They mention UH as beneath them despite the fact that UH has accomplished more recent success (or at least the same) in football with about 1/100 the athletic budget. Anyway, here's some enjoyable reading:

Y’all are sounding like aggies.

Lol @ that idiot SEC homer tool Finebaum and the “Houston Press”. They are still pissed UT embarrassed the SEC in their last two bowl games, with below average squads.

While Herman is mediocre and is not liked by the Texas fans, he has done better than the other two coaches in this historically worst decade of Longhorn football. He is definitely going to be on the bubble if he doesn’t vastly improve next season and play for the conference championship. That means getting rid of several incompetent assistants, and that Rapelor apologist Horny. Disgraceful hire, IMO, and reflects poorly on Herman’s character. The are plenty of better coaches out there who could do a better job than Mensa boy.

And so what if the fans think they should have better quality football? That’s exactly the same attitude UH and TT fans have. Any large school for that matter.

Watching Ohio State and Michigan. Several of Ohio State's star players are from Texas. Or at least went to Texas HS.

What are your predictions? Any chance for one of the Texas schools to pull a miracle?

Yeah the conspiracy theories regarding UT is hilarious. Bottom line, the networks looks at who brings eyes and in Texas, those schools are UT and A&M. Tech is in a tier by itself under those two. Baylor, Houston, TCU, SMU are in the next tier and unfortunately they are well behind the top 3. That's why the Big 10 and Pac 12 wanted Texas and not the Houstons, Techs, and TCUs.
