So, in your opinion, a mesh mask means 0% restriction. Roughly how much restriction is there when wearing a head visor?

35-50%. It all depends how it sits on you.

Texas just had another record day of over 10,000 cases while people sit around with flimsy excuses about why they don't want to wear a mask.

I wonder if face shields could be worn in lieu of face masks. They are excellent in face covering and don't obstruct the airflow.
I know that CDC RECOMMENDS face masks that cover nose and mouth, but there is no word about the shields which practically do cover the nose and mouth also.
Just read an article that Texas schools are ordering face shields for the students to be worn instead of masks. If they will be allowed in schools, I don't see any reason why they won't be allowed everywhere else.
Some experts say face shields are better than masks for Coronavirus protection. (95%!)
The shields could solve problems people are having with face masks - the summer heat, fogging, sweating, skin problems and obstructed airflow.

However with the masks laws in place I am not sure if people would be allowed to enter establishments wearing just face shields.

From the linked article:

"The actual numbers are believed to be much higher due to testing shortages, many unreported cases and suspicions that some governments are hiding or downplaying the scope of their nations' outbreaks"

Here is an interview with Gene Allen, president of the Texas Funeral Home Directors Association. A COVID-19 skeptic has changed his mind, after seeing the number of deaths.

Kerrville's Allen describes Rio Grande Valley COVID-19 situation as "sobering" - https://dailytimes.com/promotions/ar...bb1357888.html

"When you start looking at the numbers in the Valley, and the potential of what they’re telling you what’s coming … yeah, it gets a little overwhelming real quick.”

Heed this!

You keep saying that. I'm curious if you also believe this is a chinese conspiracy, or perhaps you believe the nonsense that this virus is about the election and somehow the rest of the world is in on it? Either way it would contradict the statement that you don't care about what people do in other countries.

People who think America is so different and special that it can’t learn from other countries are almost as ignorant and brainwashed as Chinese and Russian laypeople.

Actually, I have lived and worked with foreign laypeople, "including Chinese, most Asian, and several European countries.

I do not find them at all to be ignorant. They know their government is up to no good, so the populace responds as what is personally best for their community and families. (While appearing to government as following their orders.) USA friends living in China feel far safer from covid fears than if they were home in USA.

Check out Taiwan, where the government wanted populace to quit wearing masks, and the people told the government. "You're nuts!, Masks save lives".

There are very few benevolent governments out for the good of their people. The USA is not included.

USA could have safely solved Covid 4 months ago, if it were NOT for our manipulative and 'self-interest" (selfish) government
