yeah i forgot to mention the BBQ but as you can see from my post, i had so much to mention! and YOU seem to have the SAME taste in music as i do. have you heard Ben Atkins? his CD "Small Town Things" is about the best Texas music gets....it's better than pre-Nashville Pat Green!

And one more thing, gotta agree with the other poster on this forum--Texas Music is some of the best stuff ever produced. (Randy Rogers Band, Roger Creager, Cory Morrow...etc)

Default Music....

Oh yeah Bellestar, I've heard of Ben Atkins! His stuff is pretty good. I think he's kinda new on the scene since I've only been hearing his stuff in the last year or so. There is another one of my favorites--The Great Divide, but they are from Oklahoma--same style of music and their "Afterglow" and "Remain" albums are on the top of my list and are usually in my truck at all times! Along with Robert Earl Keen, Mark David Manders, Reckless Kelly, etc...

Its the general friendliness of Texans that i love about my state. Ad the lack of a personal income tax helps alot too.

What I love is that I'm currently in Nebraska working for awhile, and most people here look at me funny when I hold the door open for them.
