Crossing my fingers and saying a prayer that everything turns out okay.

Default Please keep family in prayers

I don't have all the details yet, and at the moment the media hasn't really released anything, but I got personal word just a bit ago from family/friends that officials had notified them that Mindy was shot and her body dumped near Sunset, Texas. There is not much more to say for now...

I am very proud though that it seems the whole state of Texas broadcast what happened, and that so many turned out to search and assist. Thanks and God Bless for y'alls concerns and prayers...and I will be passing them on to her family.

I ache for her family. Her children, grandchildren, husband and all those extended. To lose someone that way ...has to be almost too much to take.

This brings tears to my eyes, I was so hoping this ordeal would have a different ending. It is so completely senseless, I feel so bad for everyone. There are no answers to be found when things like this happen, it is sad beyond words.

I know, lonestar. I didn't even know her personally and I'm about to cry now. I guess I feel that way from knowing reb on here, and it just feels closer. I wish they'd release that guy to someone who would shoot him and dump him in a field somewhere. The nice girl in me says would that be fair to his family though if through no fault of theirs, he just turned into a scumbag. But, right now, I really don't care THAT much.

I'm at a loss for words. Anger is welling up inside of me right now. What a senseless horrible act. Y'all know how I feel about the death penalty. May her family and friends find someway to somehow deal with this tragedy. RIP Mindy.
