Yep. I have that CD. Love the case. My favorite is White Bricks and Wake Up. Trae did some recycling on this CD though. I'm hearing some same versus from a lot of his mixtapes.

YouTube - Fat Pat - Tops Drop

YouTube - Big Moe Feat E.S.G & Big Pokey- Mann

YouTube - Big Moe Barr baby

YouTube - S.L.A.B in my slab

YouTube - No Luv - SPM feat. Z-Ro & Trae

YouTube - 25 Lighters

YouTube - Scarface - Now I Feel Ya

YouTube - chamillionaire & rasaq - Freestyle (Mike Jones Diss) - DJ Id

That should get you started. Tell me what you think. I didn't really look for the lyrical stuff, just things that you can ride to. The better stuff I have are on CDs though and not even on YouTube or Imeem, or any of those "illegal" free music places.
Yeah, Houston definately has its own flavor, thats for sure. I like it for the most part. None of the songs really rocked me, most were decent, i would say In My Slab was the best of the bunch. Looked at related songs and Slim Thug seems to have his sh$t tight. Wood Grain Wheel for one is a hit.

Geto Boys - Mind Playing tricks on me and Southside - KeKe belong in the top 10. After those, you could go anywhere.

Dude Ludacris's latest songs are called "I do it for Hip Hop" and "Last of a Dying Breed" Which both are examples of trying to force hip hop to stay alive as you say Lupe, Common and others are doing. By the way Nas is featured in the first song.

I'm speaking about his music in general. I don't like no songs from Common really.
