Uh no. I'm sure you're saying that because you live in that horrible place anyways.

I think that the new DL is nice. I like the Austin skyline. It means that Texas is growing, civilized, modern. I think there is nothing wrong with it except that it is light blue which makes it look fake

As for the new License plate. Does it even have the space shuttle on it anymore which is a huge part of Texas?

Considering the Space Shuttle is scheduled to retire next year, it might have been good foresight to leave that off the design in favor of other Texas imagery.

Austin doesn't even look like that skyline pic anymore. They don't have any of the new skyscrapers. They should have picked a city with a more static skyline. And the capitol building being on there twice doesn't look right.

It just looks unprofessional. What's with that stupid font for the word "Texas"... I mean, any decent graphic designer knows you have to be extremely careful with the fru-fru fonts. You might think it's cool when you first see it, but it gets really old really quickly.

Official documents should look more... "official".

Barron wasteland mountains don't really do alot of talking in reguards to Texas Imagery IMHO...

Gulf of Mexico, Cactus's, and Palm Trees would have been cool... or even something like one of the ones that was proposed...

I was supprised this one lost to the one that was voted for, I think this tag looks great.

IIRC, in 2002 I paid $30 for the DL and about $150 per vehicle for plates, keeping the out-of-state title.
