Hi-
Some weekend TBA Spring 2010, a friend & I are going from Dallas down to Butcher Boys Burgers in Nacogdoches to see some friends in Vidor en route to Cotton's Famous Hamburgers & L'Auberge du Lac Casino in Lake Charles. We are then leaving Lake Charles & driving down to Port Arthur, then driving to another friend's apartment in Huntsville. Then we are going home through Tyler to see some more friends.

My central point is, what do you respondents think of Wright's BBQ in Vidor that has been recommended to me??

Thanks,
fallguy

Eat there probably once a month or so. Has a great smokey flavor. Sometimes the chicken can be dry if you hit at an odd hour, like late afternoon. Their rice is awesome. Ribs are good. Links not good. Brisket/beef good. Homemade sauce good.
They do an awesome job of smoking our turkey every year Worth a stop. Much better than most of the BBQ places in Beaumont. Patillo's in Beaumont is pretty good too though. Chicken is more moist, maybe not as smokey, homemade HOT links that'll make you sweat. Great sides. Patillos is on 11th st in BMT.
