If it's parked outside your residence and won't go away, then that's a reason to complain. But at one red light? I'm sure you can find something better to bicker about.

Why can't the public tolerate a person like me who doesn't want to hear someone else's bass/"music" forcibly blasted at a red light? Why does their right to listen to music trump my right to not listen to their "music"?

I am not suggesting that music cannot be played. All I'm saying is that you should consider others that are around you when you are doing it.

The word tolerance can certainly work both ways here. Give this some thought!

I'm sorry, but I simply can't imagine that someone would be so bored and problem-free that they would care enough to complain about maybe 27 seconds of loud music.

Would you be just as upset if they were blasting your most favorite song ever?

someone needs to invent an IED that is set off by thumping cRap music

it would be great to be driving down the road, pass one of these thumping cRap mobiles and look in the rear view and just see a big explosion and nothing left but peace and quiet

I would...I would like to listen to it at a time of my choosing. That's the whole point of the discussion, that being a little respect for the rights of others.

These morons are not just annoying us they are causing society to pay for their brain damage. Any noise that loud is going to mush what little grey matter these idiots have.

Man, is it really that annoying? I thought America was supposed to be free. Is having to listen to somebody else's music for 30 seconds that big of a deal? I am glad I live in Houston where people are a little more tolerant.

I remember that song. Sorry, but I still don't like it.

Although I find boom cars annoying, my main objection to them is that such high decibel levels can't help being a negative influence on the driver's ability to drive. I've noticed I can hardly ever make eye contact with such an individual across an intersection.

Thought America was supposed to be "free"??? No, there are laws you must obey. Free to break laws, annoy others around you, disturb the peace?

You need to look somewhere else to find your definition of "free". Somalia maybe? They have no real government or laws so maybe you'll be "free" there.

Or Houston; your choice.
