I'm seeking to move to a small metro in Texas (with between 75,000 and 250,000). When I have visited Texas, I have absolutely fallen in love with the state. Except for the balmy summers, the other nine months of the year are mild and comfortable. But, most of all, I like the very friendly people and gorgeous women; both of these qualities can be found at their best in Texas. (Of course, this is all my experience, and somebody will probably disagree with me.)

Anyway, judging with your personal experience, compare the people, cultures, pride, and other factors you choose of Texas and Kentucky. Which of these states would you rather live in? Thanks!

I live in western ky but moving to Marshall Tx the middle of July for a job. I have a friend living in Forney east of Dallas and have made several visits and the people seem really friendly. The peoples pride is very high about Texas I would compare it to us saying we bleed blue I have never seen as mant state flags flying anywhere else. The area at least east texas is similar to west ky landscape. I am hoping to fit in well in Marshall I think we will. I have seen alot of gorgeous women in Ky but they seem to be alot more of them in Texas. I know Tyler Texas is about 100,000 population maybe more it seems to be a nice place. What part of Ky are you in?
