I always compae DTFW with the westend in dallas...they are bth equal to me..

50 people? You must be joking. Have you even been to Sundance Square? The place is always packed. Give Fort Worth a little credit. Downtown Dallas is **** compared to it, and has been for at least 15 years.

Granted, there's not much else in Fort Worth outside of downtown and the gimmicky stockyards, but give credit where credit is due.

Dallas's downtown caters immensely to high class shopping, eating, aquariums, and the arts. It isn't a redneck dump like 4th, 5th, and 6th street in boring and overcrowded Austin. There is class and sophistication in downtown Dallas that is absent in nearly every single Texas city minus San Antonio. And the modern skyscrapers and older buildings are amazing to look at.

Fort Worth turned it around pretty fast. There's nothing stopping Dallas from doing the same thing.

It is possible that sloopJohn hasn't been to Dallas in 10 years? Because he keeps talking about downtown Dallas is if it were Denton, Texas.

Even this cheap YouTube featuring a tiny part of downtown Dallas makes it obvious that it is way better than Austin and Fort Worth.

You serious, Clark? Was that supposed to be evidence of something? Nobody said downtown Dallas wasn't pretty. It's too bad such a nice looking downtown is lacking so much in entertainment. The difference between downtown Dallas and Fort Worth at this point in time is that in Fort Worth there's more of a reason to actually get out of your car.

And stop with the anti-Austin trolling. You just sound pathetic.

So the entire Dallas arts district, the Dallas World Aquarium, Dealey Plaza, the gargantuan farmers market, the west end, main street featuring shops, hotels, and restaurants, the Latino Cultural Center, and an 8 story public library (J. Erik Jonsson central library) aren't enough entertainment for you? I would get out of my car for all of those venues of entertainment.

The Dallas Latino Cultural Center makes downtown Dallas even more special.

The Dallas World Aquarium looks like amazing entertainment to me.
