TAM is coming to Toronto Pearson on March 29th offering service to JFK and Sao Paulo.... Take into account Toronto-Sao Paulo is not non-stop but will be one-stop via JFK although on the same plane.

I was told about it two days ago and was excited about it too!

I did some random search, a return trip between JFK and YYZ is $149US or C$186. How does that sound, Air Canada, who regularly charges $300+ with your bloated staff who strike regularly?

I do hope more competition will come to Canada, and if Air Canada has to go bankrupt for the 25th time, I am fine with it. Of course flights within Canada will always be a massive ripoff but fortunately I will never need to fly anywhere within Canada.

The number of International Carriers at Toronto Pearson is an impressive list for almost any airport anywhere.. Toronto Pearson connects Toronto and Canada to all permanently inhabited continents on earth and only JFK can make that claim in Canamerica. That list will increase further in May with Aeromexico (Mexico City) and Skygreece (Budapest, Thessoloniki and Zagreb) so even more choices to come!! Enjoy..
