Hey guys,

How is the safety around Cliffcrest area? I'm trying to find a short term place and I have an offer from there (corner of Kingston Rd and St. Clair Ave). I don't go out at night and do have some common sense to avoid iffy situations. I'm mostly worried about car burglaries and theft and regular safety during the day when I take my baby for a walk with my wife.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot!

That area's not bad at all, just avoid the areas boxed in red.

Thanks so much for the answer. Would it be possible for you to attach the image one more time? It is cut off just like you see it on the page. Maybe you can attach to your post for download or if not maybe I can send you a private message and you can do it that way. Thanks again, the idea with the image is fantastic!

The area you're referring to around St. Clair and Kingston Road is pretty decent.

However, I'd be a little leery of the neighbourhoods a couple of kilometers to the east on Kingston Road in the Galloway Road - Lawrence Avenue - Morningside Avenue area.

Don Mills is not a bad area to avoid. And yes Cliffcrest is a safe area, but is surrounded by some bad places like at Eglinton East from like Brimley to Markham. Nothing to worry about though.
