I'm planning on buy a new Lexus 2011 RX450 Hybrid suv in MA and not sure how much i should offer at the dealer, MSRP price for AWD is about $46k, have anyone bought this car before and where, how much did you pay for ? thanks
My DP has a 2010 RX450h. The MSRP price was $52K and he got about $4K off. He has the navigation system and some other additional options. This is our third Lexus and have been very happy with the car. This is his second RX and he would not consider purchasing any other car.
You probably won't get much, if any, of a discount right now. Lexus has had severe production issues.
how far back did they get set back by the tsunami?
or is the RX450h made in north america and it is just parts delays from japan?
either way I think alot of japanese brands are suffering production setbacks seeing as from what I can gather from google new searchs most plants have just in the last month or two started shipping parts again to north america.
I kind of agree that the prices on current lot models won't drop much. as there is a huge demand for them. Because not many 2011 models made it to out shores after the terrible Tsunami and nuclear meltdown japan just suffered this year.
I've driven them extensively, they are incredible vehicles and amazing technology weighs 4400lbs yet gets 30 MPG average full of luxury and features. Handles great now yet rides supple. Seats are much better. I love the interior design, like nothing else around.
Options can drive the price up. This is a vehicle always in demand and supply is limited right now and should be better in August.
