Interesting, obviously the sales are not enough to justify a major redesign. I never cared for the car, somehow noisy and tight inside, funny on the outside. It might be good for pure off-roading, but somehow most off-road cars are driven in stop and go traffic. It might help the Jeep sales.
Do we have to care? One ugly odd looking vehicle, overcomplicated, gas guzzler. Hold on, let me lay my head on your shoulder and cry.
Even terrorists didn't want it and stick with Landcruiser and Tacomas.

Good to know you care so little that you took time to post that drivel. I don't care either, I was just making people aware, you know, since this is the automotive forum after all.
I seriously hope they don't discontinue them...they are one of the few (if not the only) SUV type vehicle still available with a manual trans and are just plain FUN to drive!
Not sure why you'd want a FJ over a Wrangler. Wrangler has way more options....2dr, 4dr, locking rear AND front diffs, sway bar disconnect, soft top, hard top, freedom top, blah blah blah. Oh yeah, the FJ is fckn' ugly.
I'd love one if not for I need a truck. know several who have the and love them for what they are ;utility vehicle.
