I have a 95 lexus 300es on dry sunny days it runs like a top. On rainy days it either want start or will run 5min or so and die. It will start back if not right away within a hour or so. the code said bad crank sensor so I replaced it and after a dry week of driving with no issues we had a little rain and I'm setting on the side of the road again. little on the weird side, anyone have a clue?

Is it ignition packs or distributor? If dizzie, then it's cracked cap and bad wires.
If it's ignition packs, humidity collects somewhere causing a sensor or connector to go bad. Including your ECM, which is a large metal box, you know.
Main relays used to be plague on 80s and early 90s Japanese cars.
Last but not least. Ignition lock.

You have ignition packs and 3.0 V6. Wife had 99 RX300 with same engine, that's about as solid a motor as I have ever seen.
Something somewhere collects humidity from the air and causes electrical trouble. We had 94 Eclipse with same sickness, it was bad connector on one of the camshaft sensors. Son had to wiggle it a bit and then car will drive just fine. Then wiggle again... So it went for about 200 000 miles.

Hey, where is your ECM located?
Aha:

See where it is? Make sure carpeting is not getting wet around it. Leaking windshield, you know.

That was my first thought when I read the original post.

Look at the ECM.
