I have been lucky enough to travel extensively. The following are my wish list:
1. Laos
2. Vietnam
3. Morocco
4. New Zealand
5. Ecuador
6. Argentina
7. Montenegro
8. Albania
9. Ireland
10. Norway
I was in the Foreign Service and traveled a lot, and lived for at least a year in the Ivory Coast, Belgium, the Philippines, Brazil and Mozambique, but there are still many places I'd like to visit for the first time:
-Bhutan
-New Zealand
-Tahiti (okay, not a country but I'd still like to go).
-Ecuador
-Tanzania
-Iceland
-Czech Republic
-India
-Surinam
-Portugal
-Spain
[quote=Trimac20;23175665]Assuming you'd never been and could only visit 10. Not including your home country but indicate what that is.
I am American.
The caveat to this question is that I would only want to visit these countries if I could truly be away from the tourist areas and be able to experience the country as it truly is.
1. India
2. Mexico
3. Ecuador
4. Italy
5. New Zealand
6. Scotland
7. Nepal
8. China (Tibet)
9. Thailand
10. Kenya
Would have Cuba on the list but who knows if Americans will ever be able to freely travel there
It's pretty easy for Americans to travel directly to Cuba now. I know several people who've gone for different reasons and none had any trouble getting there or being there.

Want to back to: Scotland, U.K., Turkey, Tahiti, Brazil, Greece, Italy, Austria, Netherlands

4) Russia
5) Austrlia
6) Bahamas
7) St. Maarten
8) South Africa
9) Argentina
10) Italy

I believe you ether have to have family there, business there or it's some ridiculous priced "educational tour" just can't get on line and book a ticket/hotel via United airlines...
