International flight question from a novice

Thanks again for advice that made things go smooth. The short layovers I was worried about
were enough time. In LA they gave me an "Express Connection" pass because of the short
layover and that put me in the shorter lines for immigration & customs.

Only thing I had to figure out was how to change airports in NZ for the last flight.
There was a shuttle but I had to ask around about where to find that shuttle.

I forgot about this once, and was lucky I had enough cash on me.

I'd love to hear that they don't even charge this anymore.

I wasn't charged at the airport. I will have to check my ticket to see if that was added but I don't remember seeing that charge.
(at least I don't remember being charged that )

I've been to the one in Hokitika, on the west coast. It was awesome.
Didn't realize the pathway wasn't lit, though, and we went in the evening.
Could barely see our hands in front of our faces, and went in anyway.
Worth it once we got in there.
