We moved away in 2015 from Santa Rosa Beach. We still own a place that we short term rent most of the year, but you couldn't pay me to be there during spring break or the summer.

St. Mark’s National Wildlife Refuge is beautiful and not overrun. The Everglades is not overrun. Many natural areas in FL are just fine. Just stay away from tourist beaches.
