The entire road should run from Nogales, AZ to the Washington/British Columbia border.. Unfortunately, that will not happen in my lifetime.
No more interstates in the PNW, thank-you. Too many people driving too fast already.

Perhaps a North Country highway in NY that connects Watertown to Plattsburgh. Route 3 does this, but it is a 2 lane road. Route 11 is similar and can get to 4 lanes in parts, but isn’t a true highway.

This could be another way to get to Montreal without going into Canada, as Montreal is only an hour from Plattsburgh. This can go the other way in terms of going west as well to other Canadian(Ottawa, Toronto, etc.) or to the bigger Upstate cities.

Well, except it doesn't go to Raleigh. And something a bit more direct than I85N to I40E would be nice.

Why is there an Interstate freeway in Hawaii?

There's actually three: The imaginatively-named H1, H2, and H3.

They are very nice roads. But, Interstate....??

Both I-96 in Michigan and I-4 in Florida are entirely in their respective states.

I-4 angles too much. We need a straight West-East highway from just South of Tampa Bay across to Vero/Ft. Pierce.
US 60 or US 70 would be ideal as limited access high-speed roads.

Maine really could use an East/west interstate or toll turnpike. There was a lot of interest a few years ago but the NIMBY's killed it.
