I am from NY. My daughter still lives in NYC (Queens). She came here for her spring break 3 weeks ago. My husband just got back from a business trip there. I am going back the end of June to help prepare for her wedding.
I love my kids. I love NY. Nothing is going to keep me from either.
hey nj and anr: I'm right there with ya! We leave May 20, worried nonetheless. Everything seems to be in Mexico City. So for Playa, we are good to go!!!

Just read on a couple blogs that the Mexican govt. ordered all bars and restuarants in Cancun, Playa and Cozumel closed today, if they have a capacity of 80 people...what does that mean? Larger places are closed, and smaller open? or everything closed? Anyone know???
njkate,
I just read on my local news where Continental is cutting some of their flights to Mexico starting on Monday. They are going to use smaller planes and less of them but they are still going.

I saw that this morning all though at the time I saw it they were not stating when it would start
I have to check in & print boarding passes when I get home as Continental requires all your passport info and it's at home not at work with me
I just looked over on the webcams. Looks PERFECT there right now. There were people out at the pools and on the beach. Just think, this time tomorrow you will be there
What are the chances of watching the Kentucky Derby, amy places with satellite tv??
