I went to Prague/Krakow/NYC and Newport Beach in January. Annual trip to Big Bear in February, and tons of trips up to OC, LA, and Santa Barbara in March and April.
Upcoming trips:
End of this month: Monterey/Carmel
June: Chicago, Puerto Vallarta
July:Jackson Hole/Yellowstone, NYC
August:Costa Rica
September: Napa Valley/San Francisco
Still trying to determine Oct, Nov, and Dec. We're on a quest to see all 50 states, and after July there are only 2 left, so maybe finish those up. I'd love to do Australia or New Zealand. I just got a TraveZoo deal alert in my email. If I booked by today, it was only $399 round trip from LAX, which is unbelievable to NZ. If they have that towards the end of the year, I might not pass it up!
This year is a bit special for us ass we retire on June 30 and we plan to do some of the travel we never had time for in the past ....... so .......
June .... New York City - for work
July .... Scotland, Switzerland and France
September .... North Carolina to visit my sister (driving from AZ)
October/November .... Mediterranean cruise - Portugal, Spain, Italy, Malta, France
Trentino and Val D'Aosta (for skiing) Bologna Madrid
in a few days Fuerteventura
in July Barcelona and Disneyland Paris
In August I hope to go to Shanghai and Hong Kong
in December Maldive
Went on a cruise through the Caribbean with the kids this year.. Grand Caymans, Belieze, and Cozumel.
We also traveled to Minneapolis for a volleyball tournament. Great town! The team got a bid to nationals in Reno, NV at the end of June so that's where the next big trip is. A girls weekend in November in NYC is probably the only other trip I'll take this year, besides numerous 3 day stays in Roswell, GA for business.
