BUT, it gets better...the daughter kept pitching a fit that she wanted to live with her Aunt and Uncle...they let her visit ...foster family documented their unease. Eventually C&Y allowed her to go back and live there...her parents had signed off voluntarily (she made her bed...kinda thing)
Well, 2 days after she turned 18, she called her parents..all but admitted she lied and what's more admitted her parents had been right...the Aunt and Uncle had used her for a paycheck...they had thought that she came with Survivor benefits from her bio-mom...NOT!!! (never worked enough)
What money they got for her was spent on them...not her. Right before she left, the Uncle beat her up...oh, and they had used her kinship care as a back-door into fostercare...they had taken a couple of other kids in.
These people had never really worked and always lived off the dole...now they keep kids for the $$$ an almost ruined an entire loving REAL family in the process.

This is some of the sickest **** I have read in a long time. I am literally sick. I don't know how police and prosecutors are able to look at pictures like that, and hear stories like this, and be able to sleep at night. I really don't know how they do it. What they need to do is send those pictures to the idiotic CPS officials who allowed this, so they can see what they caused that poor baby to suffer through. And also see what kind of monsters they allowed to have access to children.

I need to go find something else to read, or something else to do, and try to clear this one out my head.

People can be and are falsely accused.

Foster parents are not well screened. And the blood connection is most certainly used as a "back door" into foster care for people who want $ - and worse things.

People are accepted because they are kin.

And that is wrong.

I'm sorry that this happened.

PA C&Y needs an overhaul... Big time.

They should start by not advertising how and the way they do.
