GOOD! I'm certainly not convinced of his innocence, but I'm also not convinced - at all - of his guilt.
Thanks to the Innocence Project, someone will actually try to discover the truth in this case rather than using the behavior of a hunted man, and the fact that he was having an affair as reason to find for guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
It didn't. Laci and the baby's remains washed up on shore with empty bags of cement that were used near the bridge, for construction, so it seems likely her remains were placed in the water near the bridge. Near the same area the bags were accidentally blown into the bay.
And during the search for Laci's remains, 3 other sets of remains were discovered in the bay. Not a unique or creative place to dump human remains.

It's an exercise in futility...it will cost the State of California millions and he will be convicted again!
Yep. This article is from 2022, but is probably still accurate.
"According to reports from early 2005, Peterson’s 2004 trial cost taxpayer $2.64 million, with $1 million alone stemming from the police investigation into the slayings, the Los Angeles Times said, citing the Modesto Bee.
Peterson’s six-month murder trial and three months of jury selection racked up costs of more than $700,000 – about $742,000 – for the San Mateo County Superior Court..."
