No, I think Johnny merely had more than a two-digit IQ.

You're right (not that I ever had any doubt). Simpson was one disturbed individual. Interesting information about Kardashian.

Yeeks. Hope his arrogance gets him turned down. He needs to stay in a few more years.

Revisiting this thread, I don't believe he was innocent, but the proper exercise of his due process rights resulted in an acquittal. His defense team was able to raise reasonable doubt about his guilt.

His later sentencing for the robbery in Nevada to 33 years, was retribution, which was a violation of his due process rights against cruel and unusual punishment. He did not receive a fair trial in Nevada, since the court was biased against him because his acquittal of the murders in LA.

For these reasons, I am hoping that President Obama pardons him. Retribution has no place in our court system.

But his co-conspirators testified that OJ was the instigator of the whole deal. It was OJ's stuff that they were trying to get for OJ. He's also guilty of aiding and abetting a crime if nothing else.
He only got off of the murder charge because of racial connotations being anti- police at the time.

I held out for his innocence until the bloody shoe prints turned out to be expensive Bruno Magli shoes. Only a rich, fashion conscious man who liked expensive footwear would be wearing something like that. A hitman would have been wearing less expensive athletic shoes. That is what convinced me he was the murderer.

Yes, the prosecution botched the case.

I am a firm believer that he was in fact guilty. Not only were a few things messed up by the prosecution, but OJ also had a great deal of resources to obtain some of the best criminal attorneys money could buy--not to mention the racial aspect of the whole thing.
The evidence points clearly at him as being the killer. Also, his actions when the arrest warrant was issued: he fled in his Bronco in that very high-profile chase down the freeway. Then we have years later, OJ involved in the robbery at the casino, which just speaks to his character. He was capable of violent crimes.

I certainly hope Al Cowlings has written down all he knows to be revealed on his and/or Simpson's death. As close as he and OJ were, I bet he knows everything.

Anyone know if they're still friends?

Doubt it, here is the latest (though not current) I've read about him and all the players in the trial and what they are doing...all other data I've found just re-hashes the trial over and over.
