I wonder if Hannah was so recent everyone was still burnt out on it? I almost didn't watch it because I was sick of hearing about it, but there was nothing else on.
Glad I did, just to see her dad. He didn't cry during the presser when he was asking for Hannah back, even tho he already knew his wife and son were dead, and he didn't show any emotion during the interview a year later. I dunno how he felt about his wife, but surely he loved his son who died, so he just doesn't show emotion. I'm from one of those families, so I've always thought Hannah's actions during that time were understandable. But for those who think Hannah should have acted differently, maybe that's just how the whole family is.

That doesn't mean much. Sometimes it's more expedient to let sleeping dogs lie. They probably didn't have any rock solid, smoking gun evidence against her, so they probably just let the poor little kidnap victim narrative carry the day. I think they probably could have made a case against her though, but didn't want to.
