thanks for that document. My full brain is fine. Or so my doctor says!
Hasn't changed my view.
You are correct, the prosecution did not prove properly so a not guilty was rendered, which is not proof of innocence.
Plenty was proven... the jury just chose to ignore it. But yeah, not guilty definitely doesn't mean innocent.
I am curious though... you said "I've never been totally convinced of the publics opinion of guilt"so obviously you don't put much stock into the DNA evidence that said there's a 1 in 57,000,000,000 chance that someone other than OJ committed the murders...
.... so please give us your view on why you aren't convinced. Love to hear it.
The savage way that both of the victims were killed would be enough for me to never allow him to be amongst free human beings again. Nor care for anything that he says. He is less than human. A monster for what he did.
Watching the OJ: Made America documentary it has become clear to me from listening to two of the jurors that they admit they didn't really care about evidence and they too were clearly focused on race and this being a way to get back at the LAPD. By the end of the trial nobody really cared if he was guilty or not. They only cared about sticking it to the LAPD.
There is a special place in hell for johnny cochrane (which he may very well be there right now for all I know)
I watched up to the 4th episode of the OJ: Made in America series. I never knew the extent of the wife battering he had done. Horribly tragic. Never knew about Shapiro's loathing for 2 of the other lawyers, F Lee Bailey and J. Cochran.
A bombshell for me--one of the jurors, after being asked by the interviewer, "Was the verdict reached in response to the Rodney King" event said "Yes".He further questioned her. She said, "About 90 % of us reached the verdict (not verbatim) because of the Rodney King beating in LA. I was quite shocked and still am. 1st episode went over the background of the racial tensions in LA in earlier years, none of which I knew about, not living in the West and being too young.
Never remembered the extent that Cochran, in his summation, blamed Furhman and racial inequality for OJ's "set up." Quite interesting and after years gone by, not quite as emotional as it was in 94.

Was this interview done recently, or right after the trial? I can't remember any of the jurors talking at the time, but like you said, this happened a long time ago.
