Which will probably include Rahm, Jarrett, Durbin, Reid and who knows what other high powered administration official.

This could be a real treasure trove and eyeopener.

Blagojevich trial may entangle Obama - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/us_blagojevich_trial - broken link)

Quote:
Another possible wild card in Blagojevich's long-awaited trial that begins on Thursday is whether it will entangle Obama and his aides in Illinois' hurly-burly political theater.

The trial, which is expected to last up to four months, may expose discrepancies in how members of Obama's future administration characterized its contacts with Blagojevich after the November 2008 election.
Do you think obama might try and invoke Executive Privilege?

Blagojevich trial will spotlight worst elements of state's political culture
Yessss...and isn't that the SAME culture obama has been immersed in for YEARS?

Quote:
For Democrats, the trial represents a long-feared day of reckoning after 18 months of a Blagojevich-fueled circus.

Quote:
President Obama's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, was subpoenaed by the defense to testify in Rod Blagojevich's upcoming trial, the White House acknowledged Wednesday.

Presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett also was subpoenaed, according to the White House, which confirmed both subpoenas after the Chicago Sun-Times reported the news online Wednesday.
Those tapes have not been made public. This should be very amusing to watch.

I wonder if there is any chance of obama making this trial "go away".

I hope the media will give this trial national coverage but first we have to get Joran van der Sloot off the front page.

This will be fun. I bet a lot of Democrats are saying a prayer of thanks BP is hogging the headlines.

Should be every bit as interesting as the Watergate hearings of 30+ years ago.

It's a terrible time to be Barack Obama right now. Oil spills, unemployment, Iran, Sestakgate, Israel, midterm elections, Blago......anything you can name, none of it and I mean absolutely none of it - paints Barack Obama in a good light.

It must really suck to be a liberal these days.
