My experience pretty much lies in retail/customer service as I haven't received my degree yet. I need something around 9 an hour or so. I've submitted a few resumes/applications but not sure where else to look while I wait for responses.

Thanks in advance!

I know you're looking for a permanent job, but I heard today while I was in Home Goods that they're hiring for the holidays.

Oh, that's at Broadway & Kolb - the SE corner, where Michael's, Ross, and Office Depot are.

Good luck! It's only temporary, but you never know... Sometimes temp turns to perm.

I always thought my job as a door to door salesman was less desirable. However; I've been looking at jobs and unless you have a degree or skill or happen to have the good fortune of getting into a high paying industry that doesn't require a degree or special skills then you're not going to do well.

I can't believe that companies expect someone to work 40 hrs a week to make only 360 to 600 a week. Even 800 a week working 40 hrs a week is bad.

My job might be tough but I usually make 450 to 800 just working the weekend.

lol thanks but as someone working towards a degree, that doesn't help me. Any other suggestions?

Not good, Mir.

However, I understand that INTUIT is currently hiring.

Good Luck

I know plenty of people who completed their degrees while going door to door. Many mormon college students go door to door.

Why the hell would you want to make 9 an hr when you could make much more working less hrs? You could use the extra money for classes and the extra time to study more.

What is your major?
