This is too beautiful not to share. If you are interested in the Tucson and/or the surrounding areas, this is what it looks like just to the southeast!

Another nice road trip is from Green Valley to Arivaca, about 40 miles southwest. Late October and November are good times to get out and about!

I used my Cannon PowerShot SX720 HS to shoot the video.

That was great! I haven't been in that part of Arizona but I do have a friend who is considering moving to Sonoita or Sierra Vista with her horses. Now I see why. Just beautiful. Love those long vistas.

Try driving up Madera Canyon, just east of Green Valley.

Default Love that drive!

Thanks for posting! I have to enjoy vicariously until I can convince my husband to spend more than 2-3 weeks at a time out there.

That area southeast of Tucson is my favorite. We often spend part of out time in Sonoita or Tubac and there's so many great places without the crowds at popular spots in Tucson. I love Saguaro NP and the road to Mt Lemmon but it's still a city and I'm more of a small town person. Eventually I'd like to buy a place but it's hard to decide precisely where. I still need to check out more of Green Valley as I have mostly just gone through on my way to somewhere else.
